Nagarjuna starrer King, starring Trisha and produced by D. Sivaprasada Reddy under Kamakshi Kala Movies banner, is gearing up for release. Meanwhile, FICUS has acquired the entire overseas distribution and DVD rights. They have also acquired the overseas rights for the Venkatesh starrer Chintakayala Ravi.
Srinu Vaitla is directing King. His previous super hits Dhee, Dubai Seenu and Ready were all feel-good family entertainers with heavy doses of comedy. He has gained the reputation for churning out hits by the dozen and overseas distributors depend on his movies to give great box office collections.
Trisha is pairing up with Nagarjuna for the first time. Brahmanandam has a very special role as a music director and Sri Hari will once again play a vital role with a comic touch as in Dhee. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
Gopichnad Achanta , Srinu Vaitla and Ravi Yalamanchili were instrumental in helping FICUS to get the distribution rights of King for the entire overseas territory.
King is scheduled to release on December 18th.
