Dongala Bandi, produced by G.S. Naidu introducing dialogue writer Vegesna Satish as director, stars Allari Naresh and debutant Tanya as heroine. Currently, the re-recording is in progress.
At a press meet, the producer said, “We will complete all the formalities very soon and release the film in October. Director Vegesna Satish said, “Almost all the comedians in the Telugu film industry are involved in this movie. This film, a complete entertainer, is the story of a group of people who go in search of a treasure. There is a very good scope for music too and Rajasekhar Valluri has given melodious tunes for all the songs. I worked with E.V.V. Satyanarayana for several films and have broadened my knowledge in the direction department. With all the experience, I undertook to wield the megaphone. Camera work is a highlight of the movie and Arunkumar moulded the film with utmost precision. The film is getting ready for release soon.”
Brahmanandam, Ali, M.S. Narayana, Venu Madhav, Krishna Bhagawan, Ramesh Rao, Gundu Hanumanta Rao, Melkote, Suman Shetty and Kovai Sarla are in the supporting star cast. Lyrics are by Suddala Ashok Teja, Abhinaya Srinivas, Surisetty Rama Rao, camera is by Arunkumar S, editing is by Nandamuri Hari, art is by Ramana, and story, dialogues, screenplay and direction are by Vegesna Satish.
