The audio launch of Black and White was held at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad on 20th August. The film has Rajiv Kanakala and Sindhu Tholani in the lead with Hindi actor Jackie Shroff playing a pivotal role. The film is set for release on August 22. There is only one song with music rendered by Vijay Kurakula. M.M. Keeravani released the audio cassette by giving it to N. Kalyanram, who in turn, released the CD by giving it to the former.
Keeravani highly praised the music director for coming up with a good score. He said that he has never heard a song like this with the perfect mix of western and classical melody. He also congratulated the lyricist Vanamali for coming up with superb lyrics for the song. After the release, the guests and unit members of the film watched the preview of Black and White. The dignitaries at the function included Sekkhar Suri, producer Shanti Chandra, Siva Nageswara Rao, Sri Valli, Harshavardhan and others.
The film is directed by Srikanth Vemulapalli and produced by P. Uday Shanker under the banner of U.K. Avenue. Ali, Jeeva, Uttej, Raj Bharat, Melkote, C.V.L. Narasimha Rao, Sandesh, Junior Relangi, Surekhavani, Ayesha Jaleel, Jenny and others are in the cast.
