Balakirshna’s birthday rally in the US was one-of-a-kind abroad. His 48th birthday on June 10th was marked with a rally from Thomas Jefferson Park, Dallas, (Gandhi Park) to the celebration venue.
At the venue, Balakrishna was welcomed fondly by his fans, many of them women, flowers were showered on him, vedic hymns were chanted and slogans of “Natasimham Balayya Zindabad” rent the air. A screening of scenes from Balakrishna’s blockbusters was organized and the fans brought down the roof with many of them repeating the dialogues and shouting slogans.
Later, Balakrishna was garlanded with a huge gajamala and he cut a giant birthday cake. In his speech, Balakrishna said, “I am so happy to celebrate my birthday with all my fans here. I will act until the last breath of life is left in me and always endeavour to follow in the great NT Rama Rao’s footsteps. I am grateful for all your support which has helped me come so far.”
After enjoying his birthday with his fans for almost four hours, Balakrisha bid a fond and very emotional farewell to all his fans.
