Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has not announced any new films after Saawariya. After returning from his foreign travels, he’s toying with an idea to make a movie from a play, Padmavathi.
It is Bhansali’s own play and has been exhibited abroad. The play is based on a popular dance ballet written by Albert Ronnel in 1923. Incidentally, the ballet was inspired by a Telugu story.
