The shooting for the new film titled Bhagavanthudu with Vijay and Kausha in the lead commenced at Rama Naidu studios. A new banner, Yashwanth Films, will make the film and S.S. Kumar is the director.
The film is an action-based entertainer; Krishna Bhagavan is playing a key role; Kusha plays a police officer. Yashwanth Films is a Kannada banner and this is their first film in Telugu.
Rami Reddy, Gautham Raju, Surya, Srija and Kalyani are part of the star cast.
The film will complete shooting by February and will be released in March 2008.
