It’s the time for remixes. Though some critics might say it’s just old wine in a new bottle, it’s challenging to give a new feel to an old chart-buster, making it acceptable to the present generation within the framework of preserving the original tune and at least part of the lyrics.
‘Bavalu Sayya’, the chart buster from Bava Bavamaridi is 15 years old and is now being remixed for Aayana Chantipilladu, directed by Raja Vannemreddy, produced by Bekkem Venugopal under Lucky Media banner. Sivaji, Meera Jasmine and Sangeetha are starring in the lead roles.
The producer says, “The 'Bavalu Sayya' remix was filmed on Sangeetha. The film’s shooting is almost done and DTS work is going on now. The first copy should be ready by May-end.”
M.M. Srilekha, who scored music for the film, says, “The audio has received positive reviews and I am very happy about it. I especially liked ‘Yevandoy Srivaru…’ filmed on Meera Jasmine.”
Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar penned lyrics for three songs. Mamidisetty Srinivas is the presenter.
