The Balakrishna-starrer Pandurangadu is slated for a May 30 release. After this, Balakrishna was supposed to do Sadhu under Gunasekhar's direction. But Film Nagar sources refuted this, saying Balakrishna had agreed to promote a novice, Mahadev, as director.
Mahadev, who had associated himself with noted director S.S. Rajamouli, came to Balayya with a proposal; the storyline narrated by him had impressed Balakrishna very much. It is learnt that Balakrishna reportedly told Mahadev to meet him with the complete story. Bhaskara Naidu is going to produce the movie.
