Director Sreenu Vaitla was already well-known for Anandam and Venky but his star rose with Dhee’s box-office triumph.
With Dhee’s success, he is now swamped with offers to direct and is in the enviable position of being able to pick, choose and reject even the biggest of projects! Right now, Sreenu Vaitla is busy with Ready (Denikaina), produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under Sri Sravanthi Movies banner, starring Ram (of Jagadam fame) and Genelia.
Nagarjuna’s next big project, King, has come to Sreenu. Also, Film Nagar sources confirm that Sreenu Vaitla has agreed to direct Balakrishna's movie in the first half of 2009. The script is yet to be decided on. Sreenu Vaitla's film with Balakrishna will most probably be produced by S. Krishna Prasad of Sridevi Movies.
Sridevi Movies had produced several films with Balakrishna like Aditya 369, Vamsanikokkadu and Bhalevadivi Basu earlier.
