Baladur, also spelt Baladoor or Balahdur, is releasing today, August 14th. The prints have reached USA and all foreign locations where there is a sizeable Telugu population and the previews were screened yesterday, August 13th. Coincidentally, even Vishal’s Salute, being simultaneously produced in Tamil as Satyam, was screened in Malaysia before its nation-wide release today.
Baladoor is directed by Uday Shankar and produced by D. Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions with Anushka in a sexy, girl-next-door role, quite a sensitive performance according to those who have seen the movie.
Traditionally a Telugu movie is always released on a Thursday. For Ravi Teja, this is a unique first as Baladoor has been given a worldwide release a day ahead of the state-wide release. Also the overseas release is with 14 prints sent all over the world.
Those who have got a sneak peek at Baladoor have said it’s a perfectly balanced complete family entertainer and the perfect flick for overseas audiences.
