Telugu youth icon Allu Arjun has a good fan following in Kerala. His Telugu film Arya (2004) was dubbed into Malayalam and did business in Kerala reportedly for over Rs 2 crore.s Now, Allu Arjun’s latest Arya 2, a sequel to Arya, is getting ready for release on February 5 in over 100 screens in the state.

The film is about two orphans Arya and Ajay. A rich couple visits the orphanage to adopt a child. They adopt Ajay, who grows up as a rich man while Arya grows up as a poor guy. Arya is mentally unsound and consumed with possessiveness for his friend Ajay. Though the latter never accepts him, Arya still thinks Ajay is his everything in life. Ajay starts a software company and Aarya joins as an employee. Both Ajay and Aarya fall in love with Geeta, a employee of the company. The rest of the story is about how each of them tries to make Geeta fall for him.

Starring Kajal Aggarwal, Navdeep and Shraddha Das in major roles, Arya 2 is produced by Dil Raju and Aditya Babu under the banner of Sri Venkataramana Creations. Tamil actor Arya plays the villain. Music is by Gorantla Krishna, while cinematography is by Muralikrishna.
