Bikinis have always been synonymous with glamour and skin-show. In the good old day,s a vamp wearing a one piece swimsuit used to try to seduce the hero who invariably went and fell head-over-heels in love with the typical Indian sari-clad heroine. Well, times have changed and how! Moviegoers now get to look at heroines who have taken over the glam department and vamps fell out of fashion, only to be replaced by second heroines whose costumes are briefer than the heroines'.
Ever since Nayantara took Kollywood by storm with a bikini act in Billa and zoomed to top slot in Tamil and Telugu films, every heroine worth her salt is vying for a chance to do the same (as long as the script requires it of course).
Recently, Anuskha too has gone on record in an interview saying, “I don’t mind wearing a bikini if the role I am playing is substantial and the scene adds value to the storyline. If it is just for skin show, then I am just not ready.”
Anuskha, who got her big break opposite Nagarjuna in Super, is currently acting in Sowryam opposite Gopichand. In her latest release Baladoor opposite Ravi Teja, which is doing extremely well in theatres, Anuskha has given an uninhibited performance.
