R.P. Patnaik proved his musical talent through Srinu, Vasanti and Lakshmi. However, he had a strong desire to direct a film too. His dream came true with Andamaina Manasulo produced by S.V. Babu on the banner of S.V. Productions with Rajiv, Sindhu Menon and Archana Gupta in the lead.
The audio of the film was released at a function held at Gurajada Kalakshetram in Vizag on December 25 amidst a good gathering of film lovers. Earlier, there was a singing competition called 'Voice of Vizag' and 12 singers competed. Judges R.P. Patnaik and Koti selected Haritha and Sameer as the best singers.
Minister Konathala Ramakrishna released the audio and handed over the first cassette to Chandra Siddharth.
Speaking on the occasion, R.P. Patnaik says, 'Though I made my entry into films as a music director, my lifetime ambition is to become a director. There is something special in this film and one of the songs in the film was sung by 10 popular music directors, which is the first of its kind in any film industry's history.' The ten who lent their voices are: R.P. Patnaik himself, Koti, Keeravani, Raj, Ramana Gogula, Chakri, Devisri Prasad, Vandemataram Srinivas and Sri.
Senior music director Koti says, 'I am a fan of RP's music and it is no exaggeration to say that some films became hits because of his music.'
Vel Records is marketing the audio.
