Abhinayasri's latest film, a heroine-oriented subject titled Kalanagu, is progressing briskly. It is being directed by first-timer Vikram Sivaji under S.S. Visuals banner and 50% shooting is completed. Brahmaji and Jeeva are the male leads.
The second shooting schedule, which will also be the last, will kick off on July 11th. As the title indicates, it is the story of a nagin’s search for revenge against humans who destroyed her family. Kalanagu has been shot on location in forests all over Andhra Pradesh and will hit the screens early in September.
Mumaith Khan too is acting in a similarly-themed movie, Punnami Nagu, in which the nagin (Mumaith Khan) actually likes her enemies. This flick is also under production and will be ready for release during Dasara.
