For a while now, Aradhyula Venkata Subrahmanyam, popularly known as AVS has been suffering from complications related to the liver as he was a diabetic patient. He underwent a liver transplant at Global Hospitals, Hyderabad, on Friday.
Thanks to the organ donation by his daughter, this timely transplant operation was performed. AVS’s wife and son were also screened for the organ transplant, but their specifications didn’t match.
Hospital sources state AVS and his daughter are recuperating and will be released in a few days.
