The hero Anand (Venu) is a doctor, the nephew of a factionist Ramulakka (Telangana Shakunthala). She is jailed for killing two of her husband's killers. She hands over the responsibility of raising her daughter Mallika Kapoor to her brother Chalapathi Rao.

Veerababu (Allari Naresh) is a watchman at an apartment complex. He wants to become an actor. Anand, in a bid to help a girl whose lover is marrying someone else, forces the guy to walk out of the marriage to Parvthi Melton and forces him to marry his lover.

Parvathi is now after Anand because he had stopped her marriage by taking away the groom. Slowly, she falls in love with Anand. When they are about to get married, Shankunthala comes out of prison. She mistakes Veerababu to be her nephew and Anand is more than happy, as his line would then be clear. So he encouraged Veerababu to act like him. Many comic situations take place as Veerababu tries to play doctor, impress Ramulakka and also her daughter who comes to India.

After some drama, the film ends when all misunderstandings are cleared.

Venu and Naresh give neat performances once more. Parvathi Melton and Mallika Kapoor add glamour and also do their jobs well. Telangana Shakunthala is very impressive. She comes up with another powerful performance. The others go about their job in a routine fashion. There are many comedians but the comedy is just average.

The film can be termed as a good time pass movie.
