Ravi Babu, well-known for his portrayal as a comic villain in films, once again comes up with a good film, this time both as an actor and director. He made a mark with his debut film Allari, even though his second film fared badly at the box office. Ravi Babu has done a good job with this new film, which is a suspense and horror thriller.  

Anasuya (Bhoomika) is an orphan who comes to the city and lands a job as a reporter at a TV channel. She stays in the house of Joseph (Melkote). Her first sting operation is about a child labourer Lakshmi working in the house of a minister. Anasuya brings Lakshmi home and takes care of her.  

The city is now in the grip of a serial killer who kills people and takes away an organ from each victim's body. The serial killer comes to Anasuya's place and kills Joseph. Ansuya manages to identify him from some TV footage and informs the police..  

But the serial killer manages to escape by acting as a physically-challenged man. Anasuya once again catches him in the act, but again, he escapes by killing two policemen. All her acts bring notoriety to the TV channel, so Anasuya is sacked.  

She now sets out to unravel the mystery, tracing the killer to a village. She learns that the serial killer is, in fact, a lovelorn professor. His first attack was on a girl Pooja (Nikhitha) after she spurned his love. Brought to the hospital, she was declared 'brain dead'. Her body organs were removed and donated as desired by her.  

The professor, in a bid to collect all the missing body parts, then turns into a killer. Just as he is about to kill his final victim (Lakshmi), Anasuya nabs him, finishes him and rescues Lakshmi.  

Anasuya, as the young TV reporter, comes up with another polished performance. She is quite convincing in her role and carries her job with remarkable ease. Ravi Babu excels in his role. The rest of the star cast, including Abbas and Nikhitha, do not have much scope to perform.  

The gripping story and screenplay, coupled with some good and tight direction and editing, make the film a real horror flick with some good technical values. Music by Shekar Chandra is another asset, adds to the mood and heightens the suspense further. 

There is not much of entertainment or comedy. This would keep one section of the audience away. But as far as horror flicks go, this one is sure to give the kicks to those who enjoy murder mysteries. The film can be watched once.
