The film is a family entertainer with liberal doses of comedy, love and sentiment.
Ganesh (Venkatesh) is a jobless youth who is a source of worry for his father. He is in his thirties and still in search of a job. He falls in love with Keerthi (Trisha) and manages to land a job in the same place where she is working.
Keerthi is sent to Australia and Ganesh accompanies her. There he proposed his love to her which she out rightly rejects saying she is marrying her brother-in-law. This leads the hero into a depression. Ganesh's father, Kota Sreenivaa Rao, meets Keerthi but she flatly refuses to marry Ganesh. She accidentally slaps Kota and Ganesh. Kota dies the same night following a heart attack.
The depressed hero is taken by his friend to his home where he realizes that the heroine is none other than his friend's finacee. After a by now familiar twist of events, they both eventually get married.
The story is a mix of many of Venky's earlier films and also bears a close resemblance to the Hindi film Dilwale Dulhaniaya Lejayenge. The film has some memorable performances both from Trisha and Venkatesh. Venkatesh's action is the highlight in the film. The film is quite fast-paced in the first half but slows down in the second half. Swathi's comedy with Venkatesh is quite hilarious. Mumaith Khan and Meghana Naidu sizzle in their item numbers. The film is quite entertaining on the whole and is definitely worth watching.
