Gopichand looks for a hit again

The late T. Krishna, who had directed several revolutionary films launched 'Ee Taram Films' banner in association with Pokuri Babu Rao. The banner brought out several sensational, message-oriented and good films. Some of them won accolades from the government as well. It has the credit of making blockbusters like Pratighatana, Neti Bharatam and Repati Pourulu.

After the demise of T. Krishna, Pokuri Babu Rao made a film with Rajasekhar called Anna, which turned out to be a dud. Then, he started making films with Gopichand, son of T. Krishna. Films like Yagnam, Ranam and Okkadunnadu produced under this banner not only proved big hits but also earned good mass image for Gopichand. Now these two are joining hands for Ontari, the 14th film of the banner under the direction of B.V. Ramana of Gowri fame.

The hero:

Gopichand made his debut as a hero through Tolivalaupu. However, he became popular after playing negative roles in Jayam, Nijam and Varsham. Success is playing hide and seek with this young and aggressive hero. Though he restarted his career as hero with Andhrudu, it only earned an average name and fame. However, Ranam (his next film)  was a big hit. Again, Raraju was a flop; Okkadunnadu was a hit; Lakshyam failed to reach the target. By this alternating success theory, Ontari would be a hit.

The heroine:

In this movie, Bhavana is the leading lady. Basically, Bhavana has proved herself as a successful heroine in various Tamil and Malayalam films like Swapnakoodu, Chitthiram Pesudhadi, Veyyil and Deepavali. She is making her debut into Telugu with this movie.

Story:

When it comes to the storyline - Some people try to separate a youth from a large joint family. How he fights against the evil forces single-handedly and gets reunited with his family is the subject. The director had perfectly portrayed human emotions and the feel of love on screen.

Action:

Fight master Vijay supervised the action scenes choreographed in Hyderabad. The film was also shot in Srisailam, Vizag and other places.

Music:

Manisharma scores music and the audio, launched on January 11, marketed by Aditya Music, is getting a positive response.

Choreography:

Incidentally, producer Pokuri Babu Rao never chose to shoot any of his films in foreign locales. For the first time, he he has shot this film foreign locations. Two songs were choreographed in Seychelles, New Zealand.
